Meet Alex and Laura. These two are some of my absolute favorite people. They share a love that’s only seen in movies.  One would assume they’ve been together for 100 years. Their adventurous  side brought us to the Wittenbach Center for their engagement shoot. The beautifully lined pines and fresh snow covered grounds made for the beautiful backdrops. They, of course, brought their pup Ella along and she was an absolute ham running around in the snow!

This shoot reminded me of my own engagement shoot. My now husband and I went out to Bertha Brock Park in Ionia for ours in the winter of 2016. I think my absolute favorite time to shoot engagement photos is in the winter. There’s something magical about the contrast of colors on white that makes for an iconoclastic photo! I’ve added one of my own below to highlight the similarities and contrast of colors!

 

I can’t wait to shoot Alex and Laura’s wedding in September!
