As I sit here rewatching Outlander for the second time I felt the need to share another love story just as good as Claire and Jamie’s. Anyone else a big fan of the show? We love it in our house. Anyway, read on to see this amazing Downtown Market Wedding.

Emily and Alex got married on a gorgeous fall day. The air was brisk but it wasn’t too cold where it was unbearable, the perfect October day. The lighting was perfect for their greenhouse wedding at the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids. I had never photographed a wedding in the Downtown Market greenhouse before but when I walked through the doors I instantly knew it was going to be amazing. Greenhouses are already a photographer’s dream with all that amazing diffused light, with these two as our focal point I was swooning. It was a gorgeous wedding venue!

These two are made for each other. The emotion and love that radiated off them throughout the day was euphoric. Enjoy!

This greenhouse ceremony was absolutely stunning.

The ceremony was amazing, it was quaint and small but they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was a pleasure getting to be a part of it. After the ceremony was finished they were able to have a little brunch with mimosas before heading off the meet their friends. Their day was unique, as they had to go along with all the different covid situations. They started their day with family, then spent time with their friends at Arvon Brewing off of Division, and ended the evening again with their family during their small reception. It was perfect!
