Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing more and more about our 2020 sessions. With 2021 sneaking up on us ever so quickly I want to reminisce about the amazing sessions we’ve had this year. I know this year in itself hasn’t been the greatest but that doesn’t mean our clients haven’t been freaking amazing! We’ve had a blast of a year traveling to California, the north side of the state, the west side of the state and much more. We’ve seen some amazing locations this year and have even had the honor of photographing in Glen Arbor up in Sleeping Bear Dunes twice this year. If you haven’t been I highly suggest it!
Nevaeh is a senior in Traverse City and when she reached out we were pretty excited to see what type of session she had in mind. When she said the beach, my mind instantly went back to the Glen Haven beach. We had just gone there with our Senior Influencer, Tanner, a few months prior(you’ll see more of those soon!) so we were excited to head back up there.
The day didn’t quite turn out how you would want for a beach session. Michigan weather being Michigan weather, it was nice and cloudy and honestly kind of cold along the water during the beginning of September. Definitely no sunset in sight. The beaches were pretty empty, but in a nice relaxing calm sort of way, and we were sitting on the edge of the water wearing a coat and blanket watching the waves roll in. That didn’t stop us though! Nevaeh showed up with these perfect outfits to fit this perfect weather. Sweaters and jeans barefoot on the sand giving off that nice fall beach day feel and it was amazing. She was a natural in front of the camera and this location and look was perfect for her! Plus those northern Michigan lakeshore views are to die for. She rocked her session!
Thanks for reading! If you are going to be a senior or know someone who is going to be a senior of the graduating class of 2022 stay tuned, our Senior Influencer program will be released at the beginning of 2021.
