Ever thought about going off and having a Michigan Elopement? That is exactly what Ashley and Nate decided to do. Their wedding was scheduled for December of last year but in early July I got a call from Ashley. She said, I know this may be crazy but we’ve decided to cancel the big wedding and elope next month. The new date was set for August 7th and it was absolutely perfect. These two were surrounded by their closest loving family members and they were even able to bring their dog, Kane, along for the event.

They chose Greenview Point in Lyon’s Michigan as their ceremony location. Nice and close to home! It was a hot August day and a little humid but they didn’t let that stop them. Upon my arrival I could feel the love and happiness spreading throughout their guests that were in attendance and I knew this was the perfect decision for them.

The Doty Michigan elopement was one for the books! It was beautiful, intimate, and full of love between two amazing people and their families.
