Well hey there everyone! I know it’s been a while. Covid-19 kind of set us all out of wack. We’re back at it full swing now and I’ve finally got a moment to sit down and enjoy all of these amazing sessions we’ve had so far in 2020. What a year it has been for all of us in this world! I hope you all are staying safe and living life to the fullest possible during these times. Hopefully, we can keep up with our blogging enough to share some fabulous images with you. There have been so many that I hate seeing them sitting on my desktop without the world being able to see them! Check out these Grand Rapids senior pictures of Brooke!
Brooke wanted a great city scape for her senior session and with her mom working in Grand Rapids, they felt that downtown was just the place. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we really enjoyed just walking around town finding some fantastic locations. Enjoy!
We started Brooke’s session over near the downtown Grand Valley State University campus and the public museum. There were some beautiful flowers planted on the campus and along the museum walk ways. It was perfect with her floral shall! Brooke’s outfits were spot on for these downtown locations.
Being a converse lover myself, this outfit was a favorite. After working around the GVSU campus, we made our way toward Monroe Center and loved some of the new exposed brick on the buildings in the area. That’s one thing I love about Grand Rapids, it’s always changing!
Our session happened after some of the riots that took place in downtown. A lot of the buildings were boarded up but with the Grand Rapids community being who they are, full of artists, they took to these boards and made them meaningful and beautiful. It was amazing to see this and be a part of it. Be sure to check out Give Ink Courage and give them some support for these beautiful pieces of art.
