It was a rainy summer morning in early September when we had Emerson’s session scheduled. Her mother texted me asking what we should do about this weather and if we should reschedule. It wasn’t really raining over in Ionia, more just sprinkling on and off. We talked about rescheduling but instead, we just pushed the time back by an hour or so. I am so glad that we didn’t cancel, the weather turned out to be PERFECT. Like absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked for better light that morning or a more gorgeous model to work with! Emerson nailed her senior session!

We started her session off in downtown Ionia to get that historic and urban feel from our beautiful little town. Then we headed out to Ionia’s State Park to finish off her session. It was a perfect day!
