The holiday season can mean a lot of different things for a lot of different people. Once summer ends, regardless of where you call home, there’s a palpable change. You can love it or hate it, but you’ll feel that change nonetheless.  Around here, in the mitten, it’s all the vibrant fall colors, that Midwest cooldown, family gatherings, orchard visits, and that very early morning frost that marks the start of the holiday season.

For Brick Street, October is not only our busiest month but our favorite. Every day in October we shoot and edit, shoot and edit, so on and so forth. By the end, we’re exhausted and relieved, proud and anxious that our work is done, all at the same time. This busy time all seems to culminate to today, Halloween. To some its an annoyance but for us its a true celebration. It marks the beginning of the end of a busy year, the big come-down, the homestretch to a new year.

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed in their costumes, their creativity on full tilt. We hope you find the time to make as many memories as possible on this usually overlooked holiday.
