Meeting with Joyce and her mom over the summer to chat about her senior session was such a great time that I couldn’t wait for her actual session. We scheduled her for a lovely fall session in the peak season of the trees changing. But with Michigan being Michigan, that peak season can sometimes vary. I feel like we got pretty lucky though and the session went swimmingly!
We met at the Wittenbach Center in Lowell to start. It is a GORGEOUS nature center and offers so much, not only for photos but for being your own adventurous self. There are trails, animals, gardens and more! After photographing her there, we made our way back to our studio in Ionia. We love photographing in our new studio space especially senior portraits! We just had so much fun all around!
The day came where we did Joyce’s gallery reveal session. Her mom and herself walked into the studio, sat on our couch, and enjoyed looking through the images from her session. Their expressions were amazing and they purchased two of my personal favorite products! The ordered a Shelfie and our Gallery Block. I cannot wait to see these items finished this week! Joyce rocked her senior session and it was such a pleasure to work with her and her mother!
Joyce actually has piqued some interest in photography and running her own business one day after high school. I look forward to chatting with her next month about the in’s and out’s of being self-employed <3
We’re always willing to teach and help especially the younger generation!
For the class of 2021 seniors, our senior team information will be coming in January so keep an eye out for that if you’d like to be a part of it!
