September 7th. It was a beautiful sunny day in that time period of the year that happens just before fall arrives. It was warm during the day and then cooled off into the evening. My favorite time of year, also my favorite time of year to photograph weddings. This day was absolutely perfect for Alexis and Logan! I’ve known these two for a few years now and I absolutely love their love. You can truly tell they are the best of friends and perfect for each other.

The girls started their day off by getting ready at The Loft in Lake Odessa . It is a GORGEOUS venue complete with a beautiful seating area, a kitchen, some beds and more! It was the perfect spot for their getting ready location. We arrived and they were busy buzzing around trying to get everything ready for the day that was ahead of us.

The guys were with Keysha getting ready at the American Inn & Suites Hotel in Ionia. Once everyone was dressed to the nines and ready to go we made our way to Logan’s parent’s lake house to being with some photographs. These two decided to do a first look and it was absolutely magical! Alexis also did a first look with her father and her bridesmaids which you’ll be able to see all of that fun below.

Alexis and Logan held their wedding at a beautiful church in Sunfield MI and then headed to Ionia’s fairgrounds for their reception. The reception was held in the Floral Building along the Grand River. This building holds a little place in my heart as my Logan and I got married in the same location! We also made our way around downtown Ionia doing a few photos at our studio, on Main Street, and inside Cook’s Creamery!
